You wanted me to write you a critique for this one. As I tell everyone I write for: don't mind the ratings, they aren't informative.
Photographically: The first thing that I notice is that you've done this handheld at a slowshutterspeed. What happens when you use a slowshutterspeed like 1/20s handheld is that you'll get a blurry image. You'll want to keep the shutterspeed at 1/60s or faster handheld. On a tripod or something sturdy it doesn't matter what the shutterspeed is as long as the subject isn't moving. To remedy this I recommend adding light, this can be done with a lamp, moving the plate to a place near a window or similar. Another tip when doing foodphotography is that you'll want the image to look apealing instead of ordinary. I'll recommend you to browse the web for some inspiration on ways to do do this. I'll add a general video on the subject of composition, I know that there also is a section going over food and how to in that video.
Hope this was helpful and have a look at the video when you got the time
Yikes, I just devoured this whole thing with my eyes and it went straight to my hips. Awesome I was about to ask for the recipe but you say somebody else cooked it. Darn. Oh well you save me from the calories. All kidding aside this is really nice.
